Revolut Singapore App Now Supports Exchange and Storage of 7 Additional Currencies for Users – Fintech Singapore

Revolut, the digital banking and payment platform, has announced that its Singapore app now supports the exchange and storage of seven additional currencies for its users. This move is expected to provide greater convenience and flexibility for users who frequently travel or conduct business across different countries.

The seven new currencies that have been added to the Revolut Singapore app are the Australian dollar (AUD), Canadian dollar (CAD), Swiss franc (CHF), Hong Kong dollar (HKD), Japanese yen (JPY), New Zealand dollar (NZD), and Swedish krona (SEK). With these additions, the app now supports a total of 14 currencies, including the US dollar (USD), euro (EUR), British pound (GBP), and Singapore dollar (SGD).

Revolut’s app allows users to exchange currencies at interbank rates, which are typically lower than the rates offered by traditional banks and currency exchange services. Users can also store multiple currencies in their Revolut accounts and switch between them as needed. This feature is particularly useful for frequent travelers who need to access different currencies on the go.

In addition to currency exchange and storage, the Revolut app also offers a range of other features, including budgeting tools, expense tracking, and peer-to-peer payments. Users can also apply for a Revolut card, which can be used to make purchases and withdraw cash at ATMs around the world.

Revolut was founded in 2015 and has since grown to become one of the leading digital banking platforms in Europe. The company expanded to Singapore in 2019, offering its services to customers in the city-state. The addition of these new currencies is part of Revolut’s ongoing efforts to expand its global reach and provide greater value to its users.

Overall, the addition of these new currencies to the Revolut Singapore app is a welcome development for users who need to access multiple currencies on a regular basis. With its low exchange rates and convenient features, Revolut is well-positioned to continue its growth in the digital banking space and provide a compelling alternative to traditional banks and currency exchange services.
